Left Nissoria, Sicily, Italy on 15 May 1954 and arrived in Sydney on 15 June 1954

Boat was called Australia, one of three ocean liners – Australia, Oceania and Neptune

Worked at GMH in Pagewood for 25yrs until 1979.

Worked a little while in Cabramatta for Hume Doors as a forklift driver before starting work at Strathfield Council in the Parks and Garden department as a machine operator from 27 November 1980 until  he retired 21 years later on 18 April 2001. He received an award for his loyal and dedicated service and 2 certificates of appreciation. (15 and 20 yr service)
